Toyota Launches new Fortuner

Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited recently unveiled the all new Fortuner, touted by Toyota as “The True SUV with Style and Confidence”.

The new Fortuner continues the tradition set by previous iterations, and shares its platform with the latest Toyota Hilux – however a distinction has been made inside, with a unique interior crafted for the latest model. Toyota says its bold design embodies functional beauty, blending advanced ergonomics, intuitive operation, and refined features to provide a truly engaging driving experience, and that both the exterior and interior of this new model have been carefully crafted to provide both comfort and style. The Fortuner is also applauded for its fuel efficiency, powerful acceleration and outstanding handling.

According to Toyota Lanka, the Fortuner’s advanced off-road driving technologies ensure that it is ideal for all types of road conditions that prevail in Sri Lanka. In a bid to move away from the traditional design platform, the new Fortuner also brings in an enhanced suspension system contributing to significantly improved ride comfort.

In addition to this, emphasis has also been placed on the seating arrangements and storage space in order to make the Fortuner as versatile as possible, serving multiple purposes. We’re told that safety is also another key ingredient in the design of the Fortuner, and that the newest model comes with a plethora of safety measures put in place to ensure peace of mind.
